The Morning Routine

The Morning Routine

I believe that everyone should have a morning routine. The earlier you start it the better.  A healthy morning routine starts the night before. Getting quality sleep is essential to starting your mornings off right. Keep it simple. Find one or two things that you feel will work for you to get you on a roll. Cold shower…. Mediation….Read your bible. Integrative power in the first 30 minutes of your day. It will completely transform your life. How you spend the first 30 minutes of your day will shape the rest of your day. Just by doing a simple morning routine, you’ll be more focused throughout the day. You’ll be more productive; you’ll take action when required and you’ll stick to your plan effortlessly.

Each and every day, you will move closer and closer to the man (or woman) that you want to be.

Moreover, you will carry yourself with a cool, calm, confident, and powerful aura that will feel incredible and will support your goals and dreams. Remember dreams without progress are just dreams. Be that 1%. Very few people have this aura. And when you notice people that have it, you can’t help but want to be in their company.

But before I share with you the powerful morning ritual, I’m going to get you up to speed on the concepts and inner workings of the mind and how to reshape yourself into the person you want to be.

Why Most People Never Achieve Their Goals

One reason why people never achieve the goals they want in life – whether it’s to change your job, start a business or grow their existing one, transform their bodies or become more confident socially, – is not because they don’t know what to do. Most people know what they have to do to achieve their goals, one way or another.  But for some reason something or someone is stopping them from taking action. What is holding them back? Perhaps you are living in fear: fear of failure, fear of judgment or even fear of achieving your goals. The prefrontal cortex plays an important part in memory, intelligence, concentration, temper and personality. Perhaps we train this prefrontal cortex to become laser focused. Will this make us successful or help us reach or goals?

The Number One Driving Force Is Not Success

The number one driving force is not to reach success. It’s not to achieve everything you want in your life.

The number one driving force is homeostasis, or to keep your current identity intact.

Most often, what people want in life contradicts their present identity and self-image. It doesn’t matter if you want to look like a Greek god, smarter than a perfect IQ, or richer than rich. What matters is how you see yourself right now.

If you see yourself now as fat, out of shape and weak, not smart, jobless, then you’ll constantly be defined by that negative perception. You must lose this thinking. You must lose yourself. Let go of any identity that you’re carrying with you. Open your eyes like it is the first day of your new life. What better time than in a new year.

This requires you to carefully observe your mind and tune into all of the negative thoughts and stories that are playing in your head. When you’re able to pull away and witness these thoughts, they lose all power they have over you. You can then reshape yourself each and every day. Create a brand new you. But you can only do this once you’ve lost the old you. Become the New You!

The Routine

Each and every morning, you are going to listen to Practicing The Power of Now for 20 minutes. I didn’t say try, I said you are. You’re going to listen to the audiobook in complete stillness, never while you’re distracted. You are going to quiet your mind and allow yourself to reach a state of deep presence and peace. This 20-minute drill will fill your day with positive energy, peace and joy. Choose Joy. You’ll become more grounded, centered and confident, as well as learn to dissolve any fear, anxiety, stress or negativity that you still feel.

You are going to tap into the Mindfulness. You are then going to go about your day, observing your mind and watching how often it escapes the present moment. You will see just how often you project happiness into the future, complain about the present moment or let the past and your victim story define you now.

You will also witness how often your mind procrastinates and creates false rationalizations, excuses and reasons not to do the things that you need to do. Don’t be shocked or upset. This is a good thing. By observing these mental processes, you’ll eventually be able to gain control over your mind and your life. The key to living a focused life is direction. When you have clarity you can steer all your actions in one direction, the right direction, the fulfilling direction. If one is unsure you will mindlessly wander.

As time goes on, you’ll become more present. Over the course of the next 4 weeks, your entire life will transform. For probably the first time in your life, you’ll have complete control over yourself. But here is the catch, we really don’t have control, we navigate!Navigate the Focus.
